Small, established, very respected construction company working in Victoria looking for the right carpenter to join the team. The right candidate will be physically fit, have reliable transportation, a positive attitude, and an appetite for learning. The right candidate will have experience enough to know that they still have much to learn. Red Seal Journey ticket is not a requirement, but does not hurt. The chosen candidate will be expected to perform a variety of duties, some fun & some less so, everyone on the team pulls their own weight. In exchange I will help to expand your skillset and construction knowledge base. I can guarantee you will get experience with less conventional construction styles and work on some of the most interesting buildings in Victoria. You will gain experience in Insulated Concrete Forms, Structural Insulated Panels, Solar, House Lifting/Moving, Heritage Restoration (*The authentic kind*). I will also teach you how to run a company, find work, bid on jobs, etc. as well as help you transition to run your own company in time if you wish.
