Service Coordinator

Position Overview: Microserve is looking for a Service Coordinator for our BC Offices. In this role you will act as a key administrator for Microserve's Audio Visual (AV) services team.This role can be done anywhere in Western Canada with candidates being available to work BC hours. Role and Responsibilities The Service Coordinator assists with coordinating all AV projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Reporting to the AV Services Manager, this role is responsible for the following. • Process and source for all AV part orders and requirements for both internal & external (Microserve and vendors) customers in a timely and efficient manner • Assist with maintaining inventory areas; maintain AV parts stocks to proactively improve service levels • Assist with orders, shipping and distribution of equipment for scheduled projects • Manage part orders, return-to-vendor claims, and warranty claim statuses to avoid financial penalties and improve service levels • Manage client financial approvals • Offering feedback on part ordering processes; process improvements focused on service levels and improved • Co-ordinate field deployment schedules and logistics • Deliver timely reports to customers and Microserve management • Manage project schedules for multiple concurrent projects • Provide quoting on simple labour and installation projects • Work with vendors and customers defining project requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements • 1-3 years of experience in a coordinator position • Previous experience using and gathering data from an IT service management system • Significant experience with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, preferred • Knowledge and experience with IT or AV repair processes • Knowledge and interest in local AV market and industry is strongly desired • Education in project management an asset • Previous experience with scheduling and logistics preferred • Familiar with field deployment processes • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. • Must be able to pass a criminal record check (CPIC) Corporate responsibility Employee will understand, meet and live our core values Will Sweep Floors, Openness, Flexibility, Not Stuffy, Customer Driven
