Job Title: Office Administrator - Service Plumbing Company Job Description: We are seeking an Office Administrator for our service plumbing company who possesses strong bookkeeping skills, the ability to adapt to new software (currently using HouseCall Pro), and exceptional administrative capabilities. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including bookkeeping tasks, customer interactions, payroll management, and general office administration. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records. Handle accounts payable and receivable. Perform bank reconciliations. Manage the General Ledger. Post and reconcile invoices. Customer Relations: Conduct follow-up calls with customers to ensure their satisfaction (happy calls). Assist customers with inquiries and promptly address any concerns. Phone Handling: Answer and manage phone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Collect outstanding payments from customers over the phone. Software Proficiency: Adapt to and effectively use HouseCall Pro software for daily operations. Quickly learn and utilize new software tools as needed. Payroll: Process weekly payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and deductions. General Administrative Tasks: Maintain organized records and files. Manage office supplies and equipment. Provide administrative support to the management team as required. Requirements: Previous experience in office administration, bookkeeping, and customer relations. Adaptability to learn and use new software, including HouseCall Pro. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with office software. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong communication and customer service skills. Flexibility to set your own work hours, with a commitment to working 4-6 hours per day in our in-house office space.
