Construction Project Coordinator

Sidney based construction company looking for a full time Project Coordinator/Estimator to join our team. We are a small office with a great group of people. Our office is fast-paced, energetic and has many opportunities for learning. We offer training in house as well as outside courses. We encourage growth within the company, taking on new challenges and responsibilities. The successful candidate with have 3 years experience in the construction industry including: - A solid understanding of reading and interpreting drawings - Be detailed orientated, organized and accurate - Have excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and data management - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Able to manage multiple projects maintaining project schedules - Work closely with Project Managers & Superintendent The position involves but it not limited to: - Coordinating with the Owner, Consultant Team & Subcontractors - Reviewing bids for completeness, awarding of contracts & purchase orders - Scheduling of sub-trades and deliveries of materials ordered and Owner supplied - Reviewing, circulating and compiling changes to contract (change orders, site instructions, RFI’s) - Review shop drawings for submission and ensure timely turnaround - Assist with tendering of new projects, estimating and proposals - Attend project meetings, prepare agenda and minutes - Close out projects, finishing deficiencies, manuals, managing warranty period This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Competitive wages based on experience. Benefits available after 3 months employment.
