Job Description The Office Assistant is responsible for assisting with all administrative tasks pertaining in the branch and for setting up appointments for estimates with prospective customers. Review and enter orders and completed jobs. Process customers deposits and /or payments. Prepare the weekly installation schedule. Schedule installations and service calls with customers. Answer incoming calls and set up appointments with customers as required. Prepare and send out thank you cards. Answer all incoming calls from prospective customers promptly and politely. Handle customers inquiries and complaints with upmost professionalism. Contact all prospective customers that have left their name via the web site or phone message and set appointments. Welcome customers that enter the showroom and assist them with any questions regarding our products. Qualifications Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Computer Skills - Knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and word processing software. Communication Skills - Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
