Randstad Victoria is now looking for an administrative assistant for a client in Langford. If you have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and love a bus fast paced environment we want to hear from you! Please note this is a temporary position to start with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right individual. ADVANTAGES • Full time, temporary to permanent hire • Competitive salary • Great location in downtown Victoria • Transit accessible • 3 weeks vacation to start once made permanent • Great benefits package RESPONSIBILITIES • Preparing financial statements, reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents. • Controlling the schedule for advisors • Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages. • Handling basic bookkeeping tasks ( petty cash) • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports. • Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives. • Helping prepare for meetings. QUALIFICATIONS • Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience. • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite. • High school diploma. • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities. • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment. • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills. • Professional level verbal and written communications skills SUMMARY If this sounds like the opportunity for you then we would love to hear from you - please apply here today and one of our Staffing Consultants will be in touch.
