SALES ASSOCIATE - Capital Iron Downtown Victoria

Capital Iron Downtown Victoria is seeking Sales Associates for our various departments with the store. Applicants should have significant direct sales experience in a high volume retail setting. Applicants must have an energetic attitude, coupled with the ability to learn and retain product knowledge quickly. You will enjoy interacting with customers and always provide superior customer service. You must like a fast paced work environment, be able to stand on your feet all shift, and be a reliable team member. These sales positions require consistent weekend shifts; applicants must be available and willing to work Saturdays, Sundays, and/or Holidays. Sales Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assisting customers by helping them select products - Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge - Acknowledges and greets customers in a welcoming manner - Responds to customers’ questions - Directing customers to merchandise within the store. - Maintaining consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards at all times - Provides outstanding customer service - Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor - Alerts management of potential security issues - Assists with inventory, including cycle counts, receiving and stocking merchandise Starting Hourly Wage: $16.50 to $18.00 per hour
