Helping locals in need feels good

The Victoria Soup Van Foundation is seeking donations of camping equipment to help our unhoused friends stay dry and warm. We are seeing a lot of very cold and wet people who are new to living rough. Tarpaulins (tarps) and sleeping bags are the most commonly requested items right now. So if anyone has any sleeping bags, tarps, blankets or rain gear etc. they would be most appreciated by people who really need them. Donations of these items can be dropped off at Kuku’s Indian Restaurant on West Burnside road during their business hours 11am to 9pm. Kuku’s take out is beside 7-11 at Harriet and Burnside road west. Thanks 🙏
