Retail Customer Service Assistant

Buddies Natural Pet Food is looking to hire Part Time Retail Customer Service Assistants for our Keating X Rd. location for August/September. We pride ourselves on a high standard of customer service and product knowledge and are looking for someone who shares our vision and passion, and of course, REALLY loves pets! We are seeking the following in the ideal candidates: * Minimum of six months retail sales or customer service experience. * Strong preference given to those with experience in raw pet food industry, but we are happy to train the right person! * Experience using a computerized point of sale system and handling cash with accuracy and efficiency * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * A positive, outgoing personality and great communication skills * Basic math and computer skills including Word, Excel and Windows software * Strong attention to detail - A self starter * Ability to take direction and work well with a team * Able to easily and properly lift and carry 40lbs * Able to make our human and animal customers feel welcome in our store at all times, working closely to help determine their needs, answer questions about our products and recommend solutions. * A valid first aid certificate would be an asset If you fit this description, we want to hear from you!
