Pet Pampering is a dog daycare and boarding facility that operates year round, including weekends and holidays. We are an alternative, social kennel where our clients' dogs are able to run leash free the majority of the day. We are a small company with a strong staff base that looks for friendly, outgoing people to join our team as needed. You must reply with a COVER LETTER Qualifications: Reliable transportation Ability to work any required shift Self-motivated Quick learner Desire to learn Excellent communication skills Strong ability to prioritize and multitask Preferred: Pet first aid certification Experience working in kennel environment Familiar with dog behaviour and mannerisms Experience handling cash Responsibilities: Opening the facility including greeting early clients and organizing yourself for the day ahead in a timely fashion Closing of the facility including completion of paperwork, float count, cash drop, ensuring all canine are prepared for the night Feeding all canine and administering medications as required Supervising canine in field including monitoring all canine for behavioural concerns, adaptability to temperatures, general adjustment to social environment Making quick decisions regarding the wellbeing of all canine Safe fecal cleanup Phone duties including speaking with new and old clients, booking appointments, general inquiries Handling cash and float Cleaning floors, crates, doing laundry, and other cleaning as required Additional duties as required
