Both play very well. The hollow body sounds fantastic and natural and it's pickups are phenomenal. Actually just a terrific player, even nice acoustically. The solid body is also a great guitar, pickups are not original but provide an excellent variety of tone options. The low profile humbucker at the bridge is HOTTTTTT, and the Dearmond style "black foil" pickup at the neck is nice and round and jazzy. When both are on there is a biting, treble heavy tone that cuts through any mix. Both have rosewood fretboards. The solid body seems to be made mostly of mahogany, if not entirely. The hollow body has a maple neck. These are both mid 1960s and are surprisingly well made. $250 each or $400 for the pair.
