Victoria's first and premier Spring Soccer League for youth * No soccer experience is needed! * We have separated the program into two groups ... 1) u5/u6 Active Start Program A continuation of the regular Gorge Active Start programs held during the Fall and Winter of 2018-2019. Our activity-based program is designed to increase Physical Literacy in young children, ages 4 and 5 years. This Spring session will emphasize small-sided fun-based games ... a combination of professional-run warm-up activities and then the kids play soccer games. - Targeted at players born in 2013 & 2014 - All Spring League small-sided games are played on turf - Hampton Park - Day / Time = Saturdays 1-2pm. - Games start the week of April 20th and continue through June 15th (with long weeks off) - Regular raffle prizes. - Cost is $90 and includes jersey, shorts & socks. 2) u7-u16 Spring League Spring soccer gives players a chance to play the game in a relaxed environment, with no scores kept and limited coaching. Games are once or twice a week with no practices! - Targeted at players born 2003 - 2012 - All games are played on turf at Hampton Park (and possibly Layritz Park) - Weeknights - Monday-Thursday 6-8pm * NOTE: final schedules/fields depend on registration numbers/teams - Games start the week of April 15th and continue through to June 13th. - Regular raffle prizes. - Cost is $120 and includes jersey, shorts & socks.
