In a semi-dry wetsuit, you do get wet, but the design and seals minimize water circulation -- instead, the water warms up in your suit, and you stay toasty warm! As shown in the picture, the farmer jane has an integrated hood and booties. The knees are reinforced, and the boots have heel and toe caps. The shorty over-suit provides a second layer of neoprene over the body's critical core. Zippers are heavy duty, with large easy-grab pull tabs. Not sure of the size (8?); if you are 5' 3 to 5' 4" tall, around 115 lbs, it should fit. Suit is in excellent condition: clean and no sign of wear.
