$22 · Weekend Caregiver

I am looking for a female caregiver to provide care for a young senior lady with high care needs. The caregiver must be able to work alone, operate safely an overhead lift for transfers from bed to wheelchair or commode; capable of driving a power wheelchair, give a shower and perform other aspects of personal hygiene; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; preparing and giving nutritious meals; Administering medications safely as needed. Looking for a positive, energetic and strong person. Other tasks are but not limited to pet care and running errands, etc. Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license. The applicant must adapt to work in a scent-free environment, must have graduated from high school and be certified from a recognized program for practical nursing or care aid, have a current certification in CPR/First /Aid, have a recent clear criminal record check, be reliable, display good judgment, excellent oral communication, be flexible and sociable, follow direction and be interested in helping the client to reach her potential. The compensation range is $22/hour. Resume and current references from previous Employers are required.
