$1,200 · We need a new home (single gal and her 12lbs dog)

Hi there, I am a single, 35 year old gal with a 9 year old, 12lbs hypoallergenic (non shedding, not dander) maltese shihtzu named George. We are looking for a new long term home. Currently, I am living with my ex boyfriend and I am sure you can imagine why I need to get a new place to live so urgently. I work full time as an office manager for an engineering firm downtown, and I am also a promotions manager/music director for a pub part time. I am a clean person and I'm pretty quiet too. I am a terrible cook so you won't have to worry about me throwing dinner parties or anything like that. The only time I get kind of loud is when the Leafs are in the playoffs. My current landlord is 74 and doesn't have a phone, but my ex boyfriend should be able to verify that I paid our rent in full without a bounced check for 2.5 years. Prior to that I was in the Gorge View apartments for about 2.5 years, and an apartment complex on Craigflower for about 18 months. We are looking for a place downtown, along the Gorge/Burnside area, Oak Bay - just not in the westshore or area. I also need a parking spot and would prefer laundry on site.
