Hourigan's Flooring, a large locally-owned flooring store, is looking to hire an additional warehouse associate and possible delivery driver with a clean driving record, a willingness to load/unload heavy flooring materials, and a great customer service ethic. Job responsibilities include the following: * Working in the warehouse locating and loading flooring materials into customer vehicles. * Receiving of materials from suppliers and couriers. * Tracking, recording and receiving orders in our company software program. * General warehouse daily housekeeping duties. * Delivering to customer homes and job sites, primarily in the Victoria area but occasionally to the Gulf Islands and further up Vancouver Island. * Moving materials between our two warehouses. * May also include serving as back-up for our driver that picks up from our suppliers in Vancouver. Job requirements include: * Forklift experience. * A clean driving record and good references. * Excellent physical fitness—the ability and willingness to load, unload and carry heavy materials at job sites as needed. * A positive attitude and the willingness to work as part of our warehouse team and the flexibility to contribute as needed. * Good computer skills. * Experience driving 3 ton and 5 ton trucks an asset.
