$1,234 · Wanted: Bass Player for Rock Band

We're a three-piece (singer/rhythm guitarist, lead guitarist/harmony vocalist, and a drummer) in the process of starting a band and looking for a bassist to complete the sound. Each of us has been playing for 20+years, and one of us has written extensive original material that we'd also like to work into our set. We're looking for someone who can commit to rehearsing once a week, with the goal of booking some local gigs. Singing harmonies would be a bonus. We're serious about getting the project off the ground and working on both covers and originals, but also want to have fun doing it. We've been getting together at a few of the local jam spaces, downtown Victoria. Songs we've been working on lately come from: The Black Keys Tom Petty Sublime The Stones Jack White We're mostly into classic/alternative rock, but with some blues and and a little reggae influence mixed in.
