WANTED: loving couple seeks younger dog

My boyfriend and I have been looking to adopt a dog since September and (bittersweetly) one of the dogs we were looking to adopt ended up getting adopted before he could make it to us from his foster family, which is obviously best for him as he settled with them. The other didn't end up being the right fit for us. We are not picky on breed or size, though nothing too huge as we live in a condo (lots of parks and beaches nearby). Ideally under 4 or 5 but not particularly looking for a puppy. Cannot be afraid of men. I work nearby and come home every lunch so the longest the dog would be home alone would be 3-4 hours (which is why we'd prefer to not have a puppy), but we do have several weeks off at the end of December which would be ideal for housetraining and getting a dog suited to our routine If you know of anyone looking to rehome a dog that might be a good fit for an active, outdoorsy couple - please pass this along.
