$2,000 · WANTED: (Quiet and clean 2bdrm+den or office nook to call home)

Hello Victoria, I'm looking for a 2bdrm or 2bdrm+den home for myself, my partner and my 6-year-old son (who'll be with us half-time). We're moving to the Victoria area in March or April. We're flexible on timing and somewhat on location. We want to find the right space where the owner is as happy to have us care for their home as we are to take care of it. We're looking for a place to call home for at least a year. We'd love to be near hiking and/or the ocean and within walking/biking distance of a cafe and grocery store as we plan to go down to one vehicle and will be working from home. Our preferred maximum budget is $2000 all-in. We are both business owners with stable incomes + savings. Mellisha owns a small wellness center in Calgary that she'll travel back to once/month to maintain and I own a food business that focuses on maximizing BC-grown food and reducing waste. We are non-smokers of any kind, we don't drink (other than a rare glass of wine), and our style of partying is board games and a movie in bed with popcorn! We love nature and will be out exploring as much as possible, as well as returning to Salt Spring to visit our family's multi-generational organic farm.
