$600 · WANTED: Childcare - Transportation and after-school care

Seasons greetings! We are seeking reliable individual(s) for 2 specific on-going roles with our 5 year old son starting in January: 1. After-school care: Pick-up from Strawberry Vale Elementary at 2:45pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and transportation to our home, about a 20 minute walk. Provide care (serve a snack, do workbooks, crafts, etc.) for 2-3 hours until we return from work. 2. Transportation to after-school program: Pick-up from Strawberry Vale Elementary at 2:45 on Wednesdays and Thursdays and drop off at his after-school program near Tillicum Mall. We will handle his pick-up. The ideal candidate will be able to fill both roles and be available 5 afternoons a week. References and a criminal record check will be required. If you have a vehicle you will use (probably needed for #2), proof of insurance and a driver's abstract will be required. Experience with childcare/education and previous work with autistic children preferred but not required. He has mild autism, but he is cheerful, adaptable, and does not require specialized care.
