Volunteers Needed! - Victoria's Canada Day

Victoria's Canada Day - July 1 What better way to spend Canada Day, than being in the heart of the action! On July 1st, Victoria's Canada Day will once again be seeking friendly, dedicated, community oriented volunteers to help make the event a success! Victoria's Canada Day is a free outdoor event in Victoria's beautiful Inner Harbour. The event commemorates our nation and city's multicultural artistry, while enjoying diverse food and beverage offerings and a full day of programming on the Legislature lawn, which ends with a spectacular fireworks display. Victoria's Canada Day is looking to fill the following volunteer roles: Green Crew: Educating people on the appropriate bins for sorting their waste and and assisting in the safe and sanitary transportation of recycling and garbage. Living Flag: Helping to hand out t-shirts and manage the lines for our 4000-person Living Flag photograph. Atomique Productions Tent - Being an ambassador for Atomique at our tent.
