Volunteer Teaching for Seniors

The Victoria Computer Club, now in partnership with Silver Threads, is looking for qualified volunteer instructors, 55+ to assist in the teaching of it's various class offerings. If you have expertise in any of the following topics we would be very interested in meeting with a view to joining us on a long term basis. Windows 10 Android Devices such as cellphones & tablets Chromebooks Experience in Microsoft apps & programs Experience in Google apps & programs Experience with Apple apps & devices If you are interested in teaching Seniors (55+) in any of the above topics and can commit to a 2 hour session on a Monday morning each week or Thursday morning once a month at 10:00 am - 12:00 am, that would be ideal. If you have teaching experience in front of 15-25 person classes that is a bonus but we can assist you in training the right person. This is a perfect position for those who are retired and looking to pass on what they know about computers. You are willing to give structured classes to our members at our new location, Saanich Silver Threads (SST) - located in the Les Passmore Seniors Activity Center 286 Hampton Road V8Z 1H1. You must be 55+ to be an instructor please.
