This RW 4 (type 4) bench planer was made by Woden Tools Ltd. between 1961-1965. Woden Tools became C&J Hampton (Record) Company in early 1961. RW Models of Bench Planes were manufactured by Record in Sheffield, England between April 1961 and June 1965 Length: 9 3/4 inches Width: 2 3/8 inches Some light pitting and surface rust. Handles in very good condition. Both decals are clearly visible and 80%-90% intact. Note slight indentation at front of base. (see photograph) These planes sell for between $50 - $75 depending on condition. One in lesser good condition recently was sold on line for €35 (~ C$50.00)
