Hello sewing community! I am an experienced sewing machine enthusiast and collector, and I have serviced and repaired close to 100 vintage sewing machines. I offer cheap private assessment, troubleshooting, and repair in the greater Victoria area. Initial assessment of the problem is free. Most repairs would cost $50 or less, and be done in 1 week or less, depending on if parts are needed, etc. I would not attempt any repair that I would deem risky or destructive, and I consult with the owner before commencing any work on their machine. I have the most experience with vintage Singers and Kenmore sewing machines, and have an understanding of a great many sewing machine mechanisms, primarily domestic sewing machines.
