My Dutch aunt purchased these German made dolls for my sister and I in 1964. I know this because that is when she came to Canada to live with us for awhile!
She sewed and knit the clothes for both dolls.
They were NEVER played with!! and have been protected in a curio cabinet all these years!
They are in pristine condition with no marks or missing bits.
These are a collectible item.

This listing is for 2 Schildkrot vintage dolls that have a turtle stamp on the back of the neck and the number 40.
One has dark hair and brown eyes, the other blond hair and blue eyes.
The eyes are resting eyes and close when laid down.
The head is soft vinyl and the body is hard celluloid.
They can be posed in a variety of different ways as they have extendable arms and legs.

They each measures 15 inches in length.
