$130 · Vintage Early's Witney Point Blanket - $130

This vintage   Witney Point wool blanket is a blue 4 point. In very nice pre-owned condition: no signs of wear, no tears, blanket stitching around edges intact. One small stain (shown in photo with quarter for scale), which looks like it would come out with cleaning. Measures 6' x 7' 6" (75" x 90"). Early's of Witney was founded in 1669 and were one of the very first wool trade blanket makers. Before Pendleton and Hudson Bay, Early's were supposedly the first blankets brought over to the Hudson Bay to be traded with the Native American's. In fact, Hudson Bay brand blankets were at one time made by Early's of Witney. Early's is no longer in business, so these blankets are getting harder to find.
