Do you enjoy driving? Do you have good customer service skills? If your answer is yes, then we have a great job opportunity for you! We are hiring temporary delivery drivers for up to 8 weeks. The position consists of delivering and picking up packages with the highest level of customer service and accuracy is the key to your success. As a delivery driver you will be loading/unloading vehicles as required, lifting up to 50 lbs, and delivering packages to customers' homes, businesses, and apartment buildings. This is a fast-paced position that requires individuals to work at a quick pace while still being organized, accurate, and safe. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Deliver packages in a timely and efficient manner. * Excellent customer service skills. * Comfortable using a smartphone technology * Comfortable sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time, including climbing stairs * Self-motivated, responsible and punctual. * Efficient time management. * Effective communication skills with our customers and operational team. * Ability to follow the direction of Supervisor / Dispatcher. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to drive in traffic QUALIFICATIONS: * MUST have a valid Class 5 driver license. * Clean drivers abstract. * Great knowledge of the Victoria area * Courier or delivery driver experience an asset. * Attention to detail and ability to multitask * Strong communication skills. * Ability to drive a cargo van * Must pass a criminal background check * Capable of working under time constraints to get packages delivered to customers on time. * Available to start work immediately * Positive attitude, good communication skills in front of customers, and ability to work well in a team environment.
