VP of Operations

Job Responsibilities Work with CEO in overseeing day-to-day company operations. Work with CEO to define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes. Work with CEO in periodic budgeting, reporting and P&L responsibilities. Analyze existing processes and help design & implement improvements - wherever needed Proactively identify excess costs and propose remedies Monitor performance to proactively identify issues and propose solutions. Hire, grow and mentor managers to aid in growth of business Coordinate activities through all phases of the business Provide regular updates and reports to CEO and board. Qualifications Proven track record of success in operations and business management - preferably in a technology business Extensive budgeting, reporting and problem solving skills Proven experience setting, monitoring and meeting quarterly and annual goals Strong business knowledge of multiple departments Able to set strategic goals and execute tactically to achieve them Excellent oral, written and presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills Willing and able to work in Victoria, BC Education and experience Bachelor's level college degree Degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred. MBA or similar education will be a huge plus At least 5 years supervisory experience in operations or related field Experience working with multi-teams and remote teams preferred Compensation Compensation package will include base salary, performance-related bonuses and opportunity to participate in future growth in value of business.
