UVic Student able to do occasional babysitting/regular nannying

Hi all, my name is Grace! I am posting this ad as I am exploring my options for the new year to pursue my education more fully and looking for alternative methods of work. I am a 22 y/o student at UVic studying Sociology and Applied Ethics, who loves kids! I am hoping to one day pursue a career in Elementary School education. I have worked directly with children for over a year now at a non-profit out-of-school care program, working with children from all walks of life and background. I have an up-to-date Standard First Aid w/ CPR/AED Level C certificate that can be provided upon request as well as a clear criminal record check. I am passionate about creating an environment where children feel supported, loved and heard and always look to foster lasting and meaningful relationships with all ages of children. Next semester (January until April 2020), I will be in classes until the early afternoon but available to do after-school care and evenings during the week. As for weekends, I am happy to help out occasionally in that area too! Open to anything with the right family! I currently am without my own vehicle so looking for a childcare position near my home in Saanich.
