ULTIMATE BEEHIVE This is a complete beehive; all are proven queens laying and 19 frames on two levels, plus a feeder frame. Most of the queens are local queens or imported from New Zealand (they do a great job and come from a where the weather is very similar to here). Also, I keep my bees mostly organically. The package has: 1-Custom base with mite check board and built very strong to make transport easy by loading onto a dolly. 2-Hive comes with two boxes: choose from white hard closed cell foam (well insulated for the cold and hot days) or traditional wood boxes painted white 3-Inside feeder frame (1 gallon) 4-Top feeder box (for spring and fall feeding options without disturbing the bees much), also great to feed pollen. 5-Transport mesh cover (to transport the hive without letting them overheat and also good for the hot summer days to allow cooling) 6-Wasp trap box (Traps wasps inside; it is the best system I have used and very efficient in wasp season) 7-Foam insulation top with non-escape moisture vent channel 8-A custom made heavy and insulated cover so your hive can look good but especially never get blown off. 9-Entrance reducer for winter use and for wasp control. HIVES CAN ONLY LEAVE MY YARD AFTER THEY ARE INSPECTED BY THE OFFICIAL INSPECTOR. (schedule for July 3) I recommend to have at least two hives and ideally 3, as it will help you a lot to identify hive health, and one hive can immensely help the other in difficult times.
