Our gene pool is getting crowded, and we'd like more diversity. So we'd like to trade two intact male goats for two others that are unrelated to our flock. "Cow" is a big, but timid and gentle, four-year-old fellow. You won't have to worry about him being aggressive with you; it will be harder to catch him when you need to trim hooves or other maintenance! (He will come for food.) He's been very productive, siring five does and three buck for us. Cow was disbudded, but one scur and one horn eventually grew out. Cow is mixed Nubian-Lamancha, but has Nubian ears, cream-white with brown spots. Cow's unnamed buckling, intact and elastic-band dehorned (which we will repeat shortly), is out of our biggest milk producer, and is a big, friendly guy, nearly four kilograms at birth. He's the best looking buckling we've had in years, and we'd keep him if we could breed him to a non-relative. He's ten weeks old, and will soon be weaned. He's creamy white with a few brown and black spots. He has Saanen ears. We have a couple younger ones that may be of interest, just two weeks old. If you like them better, you could trade one or both in anticipation of weaning. We will band-dehorn them for you. We're looking for good milking stock: Nubian, Saanen, Lamancha. Not interested in Boers, Dwarfs, etc. These guys are currently on Salt Spring Island, but I could bring them across the water for you, and to pick up your "trade-in!" Hope to hear from you soon!
