A native New Yorker, formerly an illustrator for Vogue, Lynn was recruited in the 1970's to work in Japan for the renowned Japanese department store, Seibu as an Illustrator as part of their advertising team. She immediately became enamoured by the flash and dazzle of Sumo Wrestling and found her new calling to illustrate Sumo on and off the stage.
