Strymon - Deco Tape Saturation and Double Tracker pedal I'm pretty sure that by now everybody knows how kick-a** Strymon stuff is. If you don't know, ask your buddy, or your mom, or your mom's friend. They'll know. The Deco here is an overdrive pedal that simulates tape overdrive, it's practically colourless so your tone doesn't get mangled up in some weird way before being passed along. It's great for either subtle drive or absolutely hairy-as-hell distortion. It reacts really well to the input level that it receives too. So if you want to have great control over great tone, this here's the thing for you. The Tape Echo side of things offers a really cool variable delay that sounds just like tape (as far as anyone in the audience or practice room will be able to tell). It's a warm and full delay that sounds organic, it ads to what you're doing rather than just making it all messy like most tape delay emulators do. With the lag time dial, you're able to swing this puppy through Tape Flange, Tape Chorus, Slapback, and then Echo. They all sound great. It's also got "wobble". This makes a vintage chorus-like effect that fattens things up without making you sound like the guy from Roxette. Anyway, this thing is really nice. You should buy it.
