The Rack is a very simple and easily to install.
It stays upright on the car by Dynamic Tension.
The bottom straps have 'J' hooks that mount below the rear bumper on the frame or tow hooks and regular hooks on the front and bottom of the trunk lid or top and bottom of the rear hatch door.
