Specialty Sales - Masonry

Slegg is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Specialty Sales - Masonry. The ideal candidate would have previous working knowledge of masonry materials, a customer focused attitude, and willingness to learn and grow with the business. Key Responsibilities and Functions (Include but are not limited to the following) * Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers * Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities * Provide project quotes, enter delivery/special orders and assist in purchasing * Greet and assist customers, provide suggestions and recommendations on products and materials * Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs, and proactive follow ups * Communicate with the shipping department to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met * Quoting of masonry and complimentary products * Complete sales transactions as required Required Skills and Qualifications * 2 years of experience in building supply * Knowledge of Masonry products * Customer Service experience is essential * Experience in sales considered beneficial * Demonstrated ability to build relationships and networks * Detail orientated with disciplined work habits * Ability to multi-task * A broad knowledge of Microsoft Office is required * Excellent communication skills * Professional phone etiquette Compensation * Wages - competitive wages based on the market and experience * Benefits o Health benefits including drug and dental coverage, practitioners, disability and life insurance o Retirement savings - RRSP or other * Perks - Company discounts (employee pricing, mobile phone plans, gym membership), recognition and training programs, opportunities for career advancement, group events and more
