Special Education Assisstant

Regent Christian Online Academy is currently seeking a Special Education Assistant (SEA) to work in home and community with a Grade 4 student with special needs. This position involves 10-15 hours per week, supporting the student in community classes and doing one-on-one tutoring at home, from now until June 22, 2020. Other positions are available working with kindergarten and grade one learners. Wage is discussed upon successful application. The SEA will deliver prepared learning materials, adapt lesson presentation, and focus and engage the student. Participation in community learning activities is a part of this position; SEA must be able to provide own transportation. This position would suit Christian individuals who have a caring nature and experience working with youth. Special needs background, some teaching skills, and a willingness to be flexible is necessary.
