We are a waterfront restaurant in downtown Sidney that focuses on fresh, local and sustainable ingredients including Ocean Wise. We are looking to fill a new sous chef position effective August 1. Reporting directly to our chef/co owner and general manager respectively, your responsibilities include being the first in command when the chef is off, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently at all times and leading a small group of people (usually four or five at a time), and some ordering.
Ideally you have experience in a management role and are a VERY proficient line cook/ team leader with lot's of creative ideas to help with menu planning.
