$60 · Sony MDR-7506 headphones

A pair of classic Sony MDR-7506 studio monitor headphones upgraded with Brainwavz HM5 hybrid (protein leather/velour) earpads. If you like, or need to, wear cans for hours and/or wear glasses, these great-sounding headphones are light and super comfortable. The outer casing of the cable to the left earpiece was looking a little worn in one spot so I added a dab of silicone and wrapped it in black tape (see fourth photo). Purely preventative: everything works perfectly and the cans are in otherwise excellent condition. Also comes with screw-on 1/4 inch adapter.
