We are looking for a shipper and parts clerk to assist with our busy schedule. This position requires the ability to follow protocols and keep good records, as well as physical and mechanical skills. Our unique products require custom palletizing. Dedication to quality and availability to work overtime are expected.
Shipping & Spare Parts Responsibilities
Preparing equipment and parts for shipment
Construction and preparation of crates and skids for shipments - including fragile items
Preparing Load maps for loading containers and trailers
Packaging and lagging of vessels in containers and open trailers
Completing and submitting shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments
Responding to customer requests for parts
Picking and Filling parts Sales Orders
Providing inventory order lists for spare parts stocking levels
Customer Support and Quality
Address customer support enquiries for parts related topics
Review and confirm all shipped equipment has met quality control requirements
Perform additional quality checks when needed
Assist with shop material coordination and organization when required
Motivated, hardworking individual with good communications skills
Ability to self-start, be organized and work well with others
Ability to learn various computer applications
Training on forklift and crane operation
Crane and forklift operation & training experience preferred
Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment considered an asset
Previous shipping experience considered an asset
