Searching for friendship, person/couple

My family - husband, wife mid-30s with 2 kids are living far away from our families. We are a stable, loving family but our kids are missing having grandparents. We are searching for someone who is older that is healthy and has time for friendship and gentle activities. Our kids are 5.5 years old (boy) and 2 year old girl. They are kind, smart, athletic, bilingual English/French. Their favourite activites are playing outside, going to places like the pool, Beacon Hill Park etc. At the end of a busy day, they enjoy painting, playing board games, singing songs and reading books. Our family has a lot to offer a retiree who might otherwise feel bored, lonely or isolated. We like to cook homemade meals, we are warm, friendly and welcoming. We are looking for a new friend who is in good health, upbeat, likes being active, open minded, who would like to spend time eating occasional meals together, going on a bike ride on the Galloping Goose or a 3- to 4 km hike around Thetis or Swan Lake.
