Scaffolding Erector

Job Description Vic City exteriors is a growing siding company based in Victoria BC, handling the erection and dismantle of our own scaffolding. We carry out rental agreements as they work to fill our schedule. Currently we are seeking experienced scaffolding erectors to join our growing scaffolding team. Position Overview: The position will involve the movement and transportation, organization, erection and teardown of scaffolding. This position involves working at heights, the use of ropes and slinging equipment. Physical requirements for this position include: Ability to lift heavy loads, and be familiar with fall protection equipment and working at heights. The ideal candidate for this position would have 2 years' experience with scaffold erection, working knowledge of frame scaffolding, tube and clamp, along with shrinkwrap and scaffold netting. Class 5 driver's license in good standing would also be considered an asset. Qualifications and Certifications: Working at Heights (required) OFA Level 1 (preferred) 2 years' scaffold erection experience (preferred) Class 5 driver's license (preferred) Job Type: Full-time
