SPRING BREAK CAMP LEADERS

We are running camps during Spring Break based on Video Game Design, Minecraft Modding and Lego Robotics. These camps are run at Quadratic Sound (a small new business in Downtown Vic) at 3-740 Discovery Street. Visit: https://www.quadraticsound.com/ The camp coordinator (who will be running the game design camps) is looking for a volunteer to run the Lego Robotics Camp. Our camp numbers are very small atm so we are currently only searching for one but if we do get more registrants additional volunteers will be needed. The camp runs from Mar 15-19. You would need to be there from 8 to 5 every day. This volunteer position has the ability to turn into a paid position during the Summer based on a number of factors including how well you do and whether or not we raise our popularity factor and overall awareness to parents. Great for High School graduates or University students looking to get experience working with kids and/or technology. We are looking for someone with lots of energy, experience working with kids is helpful but not necessary, is quick on their feet, and is enthusiastic towards the tasks at hand. No Lego Robotics experience is necessary as you will be trained prior to the camp. Your duties would include keeping campers focused during each activity. Lead and manage groups of campers in an orderly, safe manner. Help with safety protocols and camp rules. Supervise campers during breaks, meals and activities.
