152cm Skis were just waxed and edges sharpened at end of last season just before being put away till now. Bought used two years ago for $120. The Rossignol Experience 83 makes a great ski for the intermediate to advanced skier. A layer of Basalt on top of the wood core adds lots of stiffness and stability without adding extra weight to the ski so you have a very lively ski that can be stable at high speeds. Rossignol's Auto Turn Rocker has 30% Rocker in the tip and tail, and 70% Camber underfoot. The Tip Rocker will help you enter a turn smoother, make your ski easier to control in powder while the camber underfoot will keep you stable while you are in the turn improving edge hold. The tail rocker will help you exit your turns very easy. The Extended Sidecut gives you more sidecut when you angle your skis more for tighter carves and less sidecut the less angle you put on your edges for a more maneuverable ski. The Cascade Tip on the Experience 83 has staggered layers of laminates to lower the swing weight of the ski, controls tip torsion and gives you full edge contact when you really step on it. At 83mm in the waist you can sample some of the light powder and crush the crud when the groomers haven't been around in a while to smooth out a path for you. A Central Sidewall gives you vertical sidewalls underfoot for a strong grip on the snow while the cap construction on the tip and tail gives you a forgiving feel.
