$742 · Roommate wanted for big, bright, beautiful house near Swan Lake

We are looking for a fourth roommate to fill our beautiful home! We are three adults ranging from 25-42. We value open communication and personal growth. We are looking for someone who has values that mesh with ours. This a vegetarian (mostly vegan) household, a queer-friendly space and we are open to roommates of all genders. It is a four bedroom house, close to Swan Lake, on a quiet cul-de-sac off Quadra Street. It's a big (2200 sf), bright, beautiful 1940s character house with tons of great features, including an amazing 1/2 acre of green space that backs onto a park, lots of garden beds, and a massive second-floor deck. Inside on the main floor, there is a big living room with a wood-burning fireplace, three bedrooms, one bathroom, a really nice kitchen, and dining area. The lower level is almost like it's own suite, with a bedroom, good sized living space, another bathroom, bar/kitchenette (no stove), and a door to the backyard that open up onto a patio surrounded by garry oak trees, wildflowers, and plenty of room to roll around in the grass. 🙂 Rent is 742 which includes oil for heating and internet, there is additional hydro and utilities, around $80 every two months. You will also be required to purchase a tenant's insurance policy as per our lease agreement with the homeowners. Available October 1st. We are looking for someone who is mature and independent and preferably has experience living in a communal house, who is a good communicator and who wants to create a harmonious living space that respects the need for privacy and time alone, as well as the need for connection and social activity. Honesty and trustworthiness are very important, as this will be a place where everyone can feel safe to be emotionally vulnerable, and supported by the people they live with. We don't have to be best friends but it is important that we all connect and feel comfortable with each other.
