Room for rent in house near Uptown/Tillicum Mall, available November 15th. Room is on the main floor of a house. Room itself is fairly small but lots of great shared space including large dining room, kitchen, and living room areas. You share a bathroom with one other renter. There is laundry in the basement, a heat pump with AC and heat, and a big back yard. Close to lots of bus routes and the galloping goose runs almost right by the door. There's space in the basement for your bike if you have one. I had to say no pets because I already have so many animals in the house :( This is perfect for someone who doesn't currently have pets but does love animals. So sorry to not be able to accommodate any more fur babies. A bit about me: I am a 35 year old professional, I work full time for Island Health, I work from home some of the time. I play music (cello and guitar) and my (acoustic) band jams in the basement about once per week. I have two dogs and two cats so I need you to be comfortable with them! They are all quite lovely but one of the dogs is big and has a big bark (she's also 13 years old so most of the time very sedate, but does get excited when people come to the door). The other is a miniature dachshund, he's 2, but he's pretty chill for a doxie, also likes to bark when people come over though. I am pretty quiet, not a partier, keep to myself a lot. Looking for: Someone clean & tidy (particularly in the common areas), mature, not a partier (friends over once in a while is totally cool!) Female roommate preferred.
