I have a furnished room available starting May 1, 2019. You would be subletting from me for May 1 - August 31 with the option to start a new lease after that. It costs $750/month + utilities. The room is in a house that is a 10 minute bike ride, or twenty minute transit from UVic. It is located at the intersection of Blenkinsop and Cedar Hill Cross Road (Along Ascot Drive just North of Oaklands).It is a ten minute walk from the nearest grocery store, a five minute walk to the nearest bus stop, and a 15 minute walk to Tuscany Village with coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is close to buses 16, 26, 51, 24, 25. The room is 11 ft * 11ft so it's quite spacious and gets lots of light. You would have 3 other great roommates as it is a 5-bedroom house with a full kitchen supplied with utensils, and oven and a dishwasher, 2 fridges and 2 full bathrooms. There's also plenty of storage space in the house and an extra bed in the guest bedroom, which would be handy if you had a friend visiting for a couple of days. The house also has laundry, two balconies, and a backyard. It costs $750/month + utilities. I'm open to renting to couples as well, but it would cost a bit more. One of my roommates is also looking to sublet her furnished room with the option to rent long term, in case you're looking for more than one room.
