Salary: $47.00/hour plus benefits. Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available after waiting period. Company truck with gas card Company cell phone Main Duties include: Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel Apply waterproofing coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions Supervise crews and work with Superintendent to ensure job requirements are met Assist Safety department to ensure sites are complaint for safety and company policies Train and mentor apprentices Enter crew hours electronically Employment requirements: Completion of High School (Secondary School) Minimum 10 years of experience required Experience supervising workers Computer literacy strongly recommended Roofer, Damp & Waterproofing certification required Must have (or obtain) own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves and tools Ability to handle and lift heavy loads, work at heights and in all weather conditions Please email resume to careers@parkerjohnston.com or drop off at 6791 Oldfield Rd, Saanichton, BC We would like to thank everyone for applying, however, due to the volume of applications received only those moving forward to the interview process will be contacted.
