Roller Skate Victoria is back with their monthly #yyjsocialskate with a Flower Power theme on April 20th! Join us for two back to back Social Skate events! Family Skate: 7-8:45pm 16+ Skate: 9:15-11pm Entry to one event: $10 Two events: $15 Rentals: $5/event We have over 100 rentals available ranging in sizes from J10 to Men's 13! Bunny's will be there serving up delicious and nutritious treats and drinks! Vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options! This month co-owner Andrea Lynne Boyes chose a charity that is very close to her heart to support: Special Olympics. Andrea has been volunteering for Special O since she was a teenager! Special Olympics BC - Victoria provides sport training and competition opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities living in the Capital Region. She loves volunteering for Special Olympics because seeing the athletes achieve their dreams through sport gives her joy! For this event we wanted to create an opportunity to fundraise for the charity close to our heart while also providing an exciting opportunity for our patrons. So, for this event we will be doing a raffle to raise funds for Special O! $2 for one ticket, $5 for 3 or $20 for an arm's length. Raffle prize: One Learn-to-skate session to the recipient of your choice, 2 tickets plus rentals to May the 4th Be With You: A Star Wars Roller Disco, 1 shirt from "Skate Tease" line, and 1 reflective disco ball sticker from "Skate Tease" ($135 value!!) Theme: Flower Power
