This convertible is a road trip classic. Driving to the beaches of California, canyons of Utah, Black Hills of the Dakota's, Rocky Mountains of B.C or our own back yard of Tofino this car will get you there with grace, style and exhilaration. Since I bought it at Victoria Jaguar in 2009 I've done all those trips with it and many more during my retirement. Jaguar was kind enough to install a super charged 370 hp V8 engine which gives the car very quick acceleration making merging onto a freeway or passing a large semi a breeze. It also makes the car fun to drive. The biggest set back to travelling in a convertible is trunk size. Not this beauty, it's trunk is huge in convertible terms. You can load the trunk with 2 full size sets of golf clubs , two suit cases, a pack sack and still have room for coats, shoes and a couple of bottles of wine. Throw a couple of lawn chairs and cooler in the back seat and you have a road trip made in heaven. Can't do that with any other convertible since the 1970's. The excellent heater, air conditioning, and heated leather seats makes it comfortable even in the late fall or early spring. I never drive it in the winter but I would imagine it would be warm then as well. It's also a safe car with its airbags, ABS brakes, traction control, fog lights and back up sensors. The wide tires and Jaguar suspension makes it handle like a dream. The car is in great and reliable mechanical condition. The paint has the wear and tear of its vintage but generally good shape. The blue is one of the nicest colours Jaguar has used on a vehicle. It is a very pretty car. If you are tired of being cooped up for the last while, buying this car will be the best thing that you have done for yourself in a very long time.
