Retired Professionals Wanted for Companion Positions

Care & Company - Senior Care Victoria is currently seeking a semi retired individual looking to make a difference in a Senior's life. We are looking to hire someone who is available during the day on weekends! We are hiring for a "Companion - Home Maker" role. This position requires someone who is highly skilled at cooking creative and healthy meals that can be presented nicely and can carry on an intelligent conversation with some of our amazing Senior's. During this difficult period it's especially important for seniors to have someone come in and check on them and assist around the house. We ensure all of our caregivers are equipped with proper safety equipment. Qualifications: * Friendly and personable * Able to work well independently * Able to communicate and carry on a conversation well with Seniors * Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's an asset * Able to cook creative meals and make a meal plan Requirements: * First Aid/CPR Level C * Clean criminal record check * BC Drivers License/Car - considered a huge asset We offer competitive wages, benefits after 6 months for employees, in-house training opportunities and a very supportive Administrative team.
